Character education should be implemented from an early age, since at this time is a very important development period in the life of human beings, because the entire psychic prowess of children formed in this period, including the intelligence of the child. Character education in early childhood is very important because it will determine the quality of human resources in the future. The role of the family is very important in establishing the independence of the child, because they live in a family environment since in the womb until entering the marriage. Parenting-based holistic education approach on early childhood in a kindergarten is an effort to form the human character, and must be supported by a clear program planning and quality. This approach can improve the ability of the child in all aspects of development and his character through the practice of education that integrates religious education and character education that can optimize the entire potential of learners holistically can make children become self-sufficient in the future.
