Author Guidelines

Petunjuk bagi Penulis Artikel JURNAL Al-Wardah: Jurnal kajian Perempuan, Gender dan Agama.

  1. Artikel Softcopy ditulis dalam format MS Word, Arial 12 pt.
  2. Panjang artikel antara 10 - 20 halaman kuarto spasi 1, sekitar 4.000 – 8.000 kata, ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris.
  3. Judul, Ditulis tidak lebih dari 15 kata, dengan huruf kapital dan dicetak tebal. Dibawah judul ditulis identitas penulis (nama, program studi dan institusi, dan alamat email).
  4. Abstrak terdiri dari 150 - 250 kata ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dengan 3-5 kata kunci.
  5. Artikel ditulis dalam bentuk footnote dengan Chicago Manual Style (contoh ada di journal template).
  6. Bagian Isi artikel terdiri dari: (A) Pendahuluan, (B) Kajian Pustaka, (C) Metode Penelitian, (D)Temuan, (E) Pembahasan, (F) Kesimpulan.
  7. Pengulangan footnote ditulis dengan cara satu kata dari nama penulis, 2-3 kata judul, nomor halaman.

 

Author Guidelines for JURNAL Al-Wardah: Jurnal kajian Perempuan, Gender dan Agama.

  1. Manuscript should be typed in MS Document format, Arial 12 pt, one spaced on A4-paper size, 10 to 20 pages, or about 4.000-8.000 words, Indonesia and English.
  2. The title of the article is written not more than 15 words and bold.
  3. All submission must include 150 - 250 words abstract and 3-5 keywords.
  4. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and email address;
  5. The article should be typed in footnote with Chicago Manual Style.
  6. Parts of article consists of: (A) Introduction, (B) Literature Review, (C) Research Method, (D) Findings and Discussion, (E) Conclusion.
  7. For the following citations of the same source, list the author’s last name, two or three words of the title, and the specific page number(s).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
