Focus and Scope
Foramadiahi: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Keislaman is published by faculties of education and teaching sciences of IAIN Ternate, North Maluku, Indonesia. The journal publishes articles of interest to education practitioners, teachers, education policy makers, and researchers. This journal encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews in Islamic education in any fields including: 1) Islamic Education, 2) Arabic Education, 3) Mathematics Education, 4) Biology Education, 5) Islamic Elementary Teachers Education, 6) Islamic Education for Pre-school, 7) Guidance and Islamic Counseling Education, 8) Islamic Education Management, etc.

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Foramadiahi: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Keislaman must follow the focus, scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Plagiarism Checker software.
The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The articles will be sent to the peer reviewers to get Double-Blind Peer Review Process and will be returned to the authors to revise. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript. All manuscripts are subject to peer review, and authors can expect a decision, or an explanation for the delay, within two months of receipt. The corresponding author should submit the revised manuscript within two weeks if a revision is invited. Principal Editors make the final decision based on the information gained through the peer-review process.
As explained in publication ethics, we ensure that the reviewed manuscript is treated confidentially before publication.
The final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as the thematic issue.Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Publication Ethics
FORMADDIAHI (P-ISSN: 1858-1021; E-ISSN: 2614-2732) is an Journal published by Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of IAIN Ternate, Indonesia. It is a peer-reviewed open access journal in the fields of education and Islamic Studies. The publication of an article in FORMADDIAHI is an essential building block in the development of a respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editors, the peer reviewers, and the publisher. We adheres the Committee of on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards on publication ethics. Submission of an article implies that the authors have ensured that:
- The work described has not been published previously except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis;
- It is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- The submission and publication in the journal is known and approved by all Authors. (Download and submit add file Statement of Originality);
- The work is the Author’s own and there are no falsification or fabrication of data, plagiarism including duplicate publication of the authors’ own work without proper citation and misappropriation of.

Plagiarism Policy
Foramadiahi: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Keislaman Editorial board recognizes that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in Foramadiahi: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Keislaman. Foramadiahi: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Keislaman will use Turnitin's originality checking software as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version articles ready for publication. A maximum of 20 % of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 20 % of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and re-submission.
Definition:
Plagiarism involves the "use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."
Policy:
Papers must be original, unpublished, and not pending publication elsewhere. Any material taken verbatim from another source needs to be clearly identified as different from the present original text by (1) indentation, (2) use of quotation marks, and (3) identification of the source.
Any text of an amount exceeding fair use standards (herein defined as more than two or three sentences or the equivalent thereof) or any graphic material reproduced from another source requires permission from the copyright holder and, if feasible, the original author(s) and also requires identification of the source; e.g., previous publication.
When plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief responsible for the review of this paper and will agree on measures according to the extent of plagiarism detected in the paper in agreement with the following guidelines:
Level of Plagiarism
Minor Plagiarism
A small sentence or short paragraph of another manuscript is plagiarized without any significant data or ideas taken from the other papers or publications.
Punishment: A warning is given to the authors and a request to change the manuscript and properly cite the original sources.
Intermediate Plagiarism
A significant data, paragraph, or sentence of an article is plagiarized without proper citation to the original source.
Punishment: The submitted article is automatically rejected.
Severe Plagiarism
A large portion of an article is plagiarized that involves many aspects such as reproducing original results (data, formulation, equation, law, statement, etc.), ideas, and methods presented in other publications.
Punishment: The paper is automatically rejected and the authors are forbidden to submit further articles to the journal.
